Clients acknowledge that detailing may reveal hidden imperfections (e.g., cracks, rust).
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC assumes no liability for pre-existing conditions or damage resulting from standard detailing procedures.
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC is not liable for delays or cancellations due to force events, including extreme weather, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC liability is limited to the service cost and excludes indirect or consequential damages.
Auto Detailing / Ceramic Coating Terms and Conditions
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC is committed to providing an exceptional detailing experience. By scheduling any service with Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined below. These policies are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and quality for all our clients.
Definitions
Client: The individual scheduling and paying for the services.
Annual Coating Maintenance: Required yearly service to maintain ceramic coating warranties.
Paint Correction: The process of removing defects from a vehicle’s paint surface.
Promotional Offers: Special discounts or incentives with specific terms and expirations.
Payment Terms
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC reserves the right to request deposit for services. Final Payment must be made at the end of service, or scheduled pickup day. Any non-payment situations will be referred to law enforcement, and the State of South Carolina for remediation.
Accepted payment methods include cash, checks, major credit cards*.
*Credit card use will incur a flat $10 fee per every $1000 of work performed. Card processing through Square Inc.
Terms of Service
All services require an in-person consultation and vehicle inspection to finalize pricing and service details. Preliminary estimates provided over the phone or online may be adjusted after inspection.
Changes in vehicle condition (e.g., pet hair, biohazard cleanup) between inspection and appointment may result in additional charges. Clients will be notified for approval before work begins.
Paint Correction, Polishing, and Scratch Removal
Paint correction involves removing surface defects while preserving the vehicle’s clear coat.
Deep scratches may not be fully removable without compromising the clear coat. Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC prioritizes preserving the integrity of the paint and clear coat as much as possible.
Paint correction pricing varies based on the vehicle’s condition.
Pre-existing Damages
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC documents pre-existing conditions with time stamped photos/videos before starting work.
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC is not liable for hidden damages discovered during the detailing process. They will be immediately documented, saved, and sent to the client for their reference.
Remove Personal Items
Clients must remove all personal belongings before the appointment. Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC is not responsible for any items left behind.
Service Time Policy
Service times are estimates and may vary. Clients will be notified of significant delays via text or phone call.
Photo/Video Rights
Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC may use photos or videos of the vehicle for promotional purposes. Clients may opt-out by notifying us via phone, email, text, or in person. All photos and videos will have no license plate or VIN number info.
Service Guarantee
Upon completion, clients will inspect the vehicle with Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC staff. If dissatisfied, Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC will address concerns immediately.
System X/Element 119 - Ceramic Coating Warranty Terms/Coverage
System X/Element 119 warrants that with the proper application of their professional ceramic coatings, your vehicle’s paint finish will remain protected against:
Oxidation
Loss of Gloss
UV Damage
Acid Rain
Paint Chalking
If the treated paint is shown to be adversely affected by exposure to these conditions or through normal use, as evidenced by visible loss of gloss, Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC will remedy through professional surface reconditioning and polishing as the first step before any repainting.
Applicable Coating Terms
Our manufacturers coating warranties are structured as follows, with specific annual maintenance requirements necessary to keep the warranty valid:
System X Max/Max G+/Max MF: Lifetime Warranty
System X Pro+: 6-Year Warranty
System X Crystal SS+: 3-Year Warranty
System X Glass+: No warranty coverage (glass-specific coating).
Interior Coating Package. Our upgraded interior coating package includes System X LVP, a premium coating for leather, vinyl, and plastics, with the following features:
3-Year Warranty for System X LVP on leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
General Conditions
To maintain the validity of this warranty, Annual Coating Maintenance service must be performed each year within 30 days of the anniversary date of original install. This service ensures the continued protection and performance of the ceramic coating.
Coverage applies solely to vehicles registered for non-commercial, legal road use.
The warranty is non-transferable and is registered under the vehicle owner's name.
In the event of any surface repair (e.g., due to an accident), the affected area must be retreated within thirty (30) days, at the owner’s expense.
Routine washing and maintenance, as outlined in this warranty, are mandatory to prevent contaminant buildup.
Limit of Liability
Claims and Repairs: Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or retreatment of the affected coated area, at our sole discretion, up to a maximum of $1,000.
Sole Discretion: System X / Element 119 and Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC retains the sole discretion to determine the course of action for any warranty claim, including whether reconditioning, repainting, or refunding is the best solution. Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC can make suggestions and offer remedy, but cannot ultimately decide whether a warranty claim will be accepted or denied by the coating manufacturer.
Coverage Limitations: Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of repair or retreatment of the coated surface only. Technique Detailing and Ceramic Coating LLC is not liable for any loss of time, use of the vehicle, or incidental damages during inspections or treatments.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Negligence or Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from neglect, failure to maintain the surface, or improper care techniques, including the use of brushes or automated car washes that may cause abrasions.
Pre-existing Surface Damage: Existing paint defects or substandard materials from the vehicle manufacturer, dealership, or unauthorized parties.
Swirl Marks, Marring, or Scratches: Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, or chips that may result from daily use or poor washing techniques.
Water Spots: Water spots caused by mineral deposits (often from hard water or sprinklers) are excluded. It is advised to address any spotting immediately.
Physical or Environmental Damages: Physical damages from impacts, weather events, or contaminants such as road salt, paint overspray, and rail dust are not covered.
